P-series truck overview
Reliable
yet promising.. it is perhaps the first impression that would comes out by seeing
these new lightweight Scania P-Series trucks. It is probably the most suitable
words describing these brand new trucks from Scania. Powered by the new advanced
Scania Euro 6 high-torque engines set into two different types of engines, 9
liters capacity with five cylinders could boost up the output performance from
250 into 360 HP and 13 liters capacity with five cylinders could boost up the
performance output into 370, 410 and 450 HP make them wild enough to undertake both urban and off-road terrain
application.

There
is not much known about the kinds of engines set up on these trucks, it’s
supposedly the engine is using both K310 or K380 (both of them are matched with
the characteristics of P-series engines). One of the unique things come up upon
these engines are those capabilities for consuming not only gas or diesel but
it could also consuming ethanol or biodiesel as well. This surely proven that
the series are already applying on emission technology, the prove that the
series surely pass the Euro 6. On the cab design, the series are still keeping
its standards based on its safety, quality, visibility, sustainability and comfort
ideas with carefully constructed based on the extensive safety testing and any
feedbacks from drivers. The base of its construction seems to be applied on
another series of the products, as we could see it in both G and R-series,
eventhough they have different kinds of design and technology.
Furthermore, as the P-series trucks are being launched into the marketplace with good shape-looking and highly advanced technology, it is shown that once again Scania has proven its capabilities in making high quality trucks worldwide. Hoping that this type of P-series trucks could be seen in our streets, shops, and marketplaces one day because there is nothing could stops this economical monsters... That’s totally promising!
